Alexis Sanchez has sent Arsenal a furious message after his Man City deal collapses

So, after months of deliberation and rumours, Alexis Sanchez’s immediate future was eventually decided with Arsenal managing to hang on to the Chilean star.
Manchester City were desperate to sign him but after only tabling a bid on Tuesday, Pep Guardiola’s outfit fell short, as the Gunners did not have the time to bring in a suitable replacement.

Thomas Lemar and Julian Draxler were two names linked with coming to the Emirates but in the end, Arsene Wenger’s side felt they did not have enough time to get the deal sorted.
The oil-rich Manchester club did offer £60m for Sanchez, who is in the last year of his contract, and now, he will have to make do with another season in north London.

He is reportedly furious with the whole situation, as are City, and the two parties are hoping a deal can be arranged in January.

However, things seem to be going from bad to worse for the entire situation, with Sanchez venting his frustration about the whole debacle.
In fact, according to Goal, he has declared that he does not want to play for Arsenal again and is determined to make sure he gets his dream move.
However, it is also reported that he will at least not go on strike, but questions will surely be raised about his commitment to giving 100% for the Gunners.

The World Cup maybe on the horizon, but given the fact that he will start for Chile no matter what, he may even choose to take greater care of his body in order to preserve himself for the international showpiece.
Arsenal now find themselves in a disastrous situation, with more questions than ever looming over their best player.
Not letting him go him may have been a way to save some of their reputation but in the long run, keeping Sanchez could prove to be detrimental to the club.
