This is the Punishment FA Gave Antonio Conte After The Match vs Swansea

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has been charged with misconduct by the FA after being sent to the stands in the side’s 1-0 defeat of Swansea.

The incident took place in the 43rd minute of the Stamford Bridge clash and referee Neil Swarbrick decided to give Conte his marching orders after the Italian was seen yelling in the face of fourth official Lee Mason.

Conte has until 6pm on December 5 to respond to the charge and could face an £8,000 fine for his actions in the Premier League fixture on Wednesday evening.

Asked about his sending off at Stamford Bridge, Conte explained: ‘The problem is I was frustrated because the opponents were wasting time.

‘I tried to tell this to the fourth official not only once but a few times.

‘But I have apologised because I did the wrong thing. I have been in to see them after the game. It’s right to speak and apologise with them.

‘I don’t know if it was fair [to be sent off] but we have to respect this decision.
