The 26-year-old fuelled the rumours of a move to the Bernabeu when he admitted it would be a “dream” for him to represent Real.“We all dream. Of course, I would consider it if Madrid made an offer,” Hazard said earlier in the summer.

“I am keen to win trophies. It would be great to win the Champions League.

“But Chelsea’s goal is to win the Champions League as well.

“Honestly, I do not know what will happen.

“I only know that I still have a contract with Chelsea for three seasons and that we just had an amazing campaign.”

And it seems the Belgian has opted to commit his future to the Stamford Bridge club.

He has been a peripheral figure at Chelsea in recent months due to a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a broken ankle.

However, he is expected to be contention for Sunday’s clash with Arsenal (1.30pm) although Antonio Conte said he would not rush him back.

“We must have a bit of patience with him to give him the possibility to recover very well, to be totally fit,” he said.

“I think this is the right process for him.

Hazard star joined Chelsea in  2012 from Lille made 36 appearances last campaign scoring 16 goals in after playing a key role in Chelsea winning the Premier League title last season.
