– Femi Adesina, the special assistant to the presidency on media and publicity, has announced that owing to the just concluded Eid-el-Fitr holidays, preparations for the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting were delayed and as such, it will not be held on Wednesday, June 20.

The presidency, through the special assistant to the President Muhammadu Buhari on media and publicity, Femi Adesina has explained why the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) will not be held on Wednesday, June 20, Daily Trust reports.

Adesina, in a statement released on Tuesday, June 19, said that the development was “due to the Eid-el-Fitr holidays last Friday and yesterday, which affected preparation of Council memoranda.” Adesina also confirmed in clear terms that the president would sign the 2018 appropriation bill at noon tomorrow.
